Name of project:Changes in Teachers' and Universities in the 21st Century

Coordinator: Masaryk University (Brno, Czech Republic)

Project duration: 2019-2021

Project Description: The project aims to strengthen the capacity of middle management staff and teachers of Ukrainian universities to train future teachers. During the project, 5 intensive week-long training courses will be held in Brno, focusing on higher education topics: teacher training in the 21st century, internal evaluation of higher education institutions, internationalization of universities, and preparation and participation in international projects, as well as topics relevant to current interests of participants.

Name of project: “Development of the Culture of Democracy in Pedagogical Education in Ukraine, Norway and Palestine”

Project description: The aim is to improve the quality of pedagogical education in Ukraine, Norway, and Palestine through the development of a democratic culture in teaching. The project provides the best practice analysis of implementing a democratic culture in education and development of curricula, study programs and courses for the upgrading teachers of the high and primary school.

Project description: The aim is to assist Ukrainian Universities with transformation with study programmes and creation of study plans according to Bologna declaration, supporting the development of University quality management, and furthermore improvement of Ukrainian students’ international exchange.

Name of project: “Structure and evolution of complex systems with applications in physics and life sciences”

Coordinator: Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin (Poland);

Project description: The aim of the project is to make a major step-change in developing novel effective tools for studying complex systems based on stochastic geometry and stochastic evolution methods, on appropriate methods of analysis and combinatorics, as well as on numerical methods and computer simulations. The network we are going to create will unite efforts of leading specialists in this area towards scientific excellence, will establish new and strengthen existing long-term collaboration links between them, and will train a new generation of young researchers in this multidisciplinary area.

Name of project: Initial and Further Education and Training for Educationalists and Managers in Education in the field of Diversity

Project description: The aim of this project is the qualification of pedagogues and education managers in a consecutive higher and further education system, for the constructive handling of diversity in educational institutions and organisations. Target Groups in education are BA and MA students in such subjects as teaching, pedagogy and social pedagogy as well as PhD students. In further education they are teachers, education managers, agency representatives (commune, town, social security, migration services etc.). Beneficiaries of these measures are children and adolescents with special needs, their parents, University, heterogeneous organisations/ corporations, social agencies and migrant services, communal agencies.

Name of project: JM Project "European Values of Diversity and Inclusion for Sustainable Development (EVDISD)"

Project description: The project is aimed on the research the core issues of EU studies concerning EU values and how to implement them in to the Ukrainian educational system (first of all in a sphere of higher education) for sustainable civil society development. 

The one of the main focus and long term impacts of the project is to increase the practical dissemination of EU values in HEIs by the way of discussing and enhancing the values awareness, value-based human potential development, enhancing the diversity and inclusion inside HEI’s communities and transferring this practice as well as corporate social responsibility and social engagement of HEIs in the community, region, state for the joint sustainable development and supporting policy reform. 

The given project belongs to “spread content” type as its key activities will be comprised of information and dissemination activities focusing on the EU, its values, the role of education in promotion and enforcement of EU values and related issues.

Name of project: JM Chair "Social and Cultural Aspects of EU Studies" (SCAES).

Project duration: 30.10.2020 р.  – 29.10.2023
Project description: Today there is a growing understanding of the need to promote the European integration and EU Studies more enthusiastically and broadly; as well as build networks with colleagues in Ukraine and abroad. That is why it goes without saying that the main aim of the project is extremely actual for Ukraine.

To deep teaching in European Union studies embodied in an official curriculum of a higher education institution in the EU and constitutes the basis for future poles of European knowledge, particularly in Partner Countries we will: 

-           teach the EU issue students who do not study specifically on European issues (management, inclusive pedagogy, agricultural management etc.), engage the young generation of researchers.

-           hold a joint web conferences and\or round-table for educators from Ukraine and EU (Italy,  Belgium etc.) that will enable Ukrainian educators  and educational managers to get a professional experience in the field of social innovation in education (solidarity, inclusion, community based and value based education to enrich the higher pedagogical system in Ukraine and civil society accordingly.  Also, internal experts from EU (Italy) will hold a webinar on the topic of European education policy in the field of social innovations and inclusion. It will help to share the experience of Italy about functioning in the implementation of European principles and standards of inclusion and common values in the system of higher education.
